Three ways to make a beat

Binaural, monaural and isochronic. Headphones or speakers.

Binaural plays a slightly different tone in each ear; your hearing creates the beat. Best with headphones.

Monaural mixes the two tones together. Works on speakers.

Isochronic pulses one tone on and off at the beat rate. Works on speakers.

There is also a steady single tone, white, pink and brown noise, and four tone shapes: sine, triangle, square and sawtooth.
