Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Attract Success, LLC, which operates L1fe by Design ("we", "us"), for the use of L1fe Tone (the "Service"). By subscribing or using the Service you agree to them.

Who can subscribe

You must be at least 18 to subscribe. If you are under 18, you may only use L1fe Tone with a parent or guardian's permission, and they must be the one who pays.

What L1fe Tone is

L1fe Tone is a web application that generates audio tones, beats, noise and soundscapes (such as ocean, waterfall and rain) through your device for relaxation, focus, meditation and personal audio exploration.

What L1fe Tone is not

L1fe Tone is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Frequency names and descriptions in the library are labelled Traditional, Research-informed or Experimental. "Research-informed" means published research discusses that range; it does not mean L1fe Tone has been shown to do anything. All of it is offered for interest only, not as medical advice or a promise of any effect.

Listening safely

L1fe Tone plays tones and pulsed beats. Do not use it if you have epilepsy or any history of seizures, unless your doctor says it is fine: steady rhythmic pulses of light or sound can trigger a seizure in some people with epilepsy. If you are pregnant, have tinnitus or another hearing condition, or have any medical condition you are unsure about, check with your doctor first. Never use it while driving or doing anything that needs your attention. Start with the volume low; loud audio damages hearing. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell. The Isochronic setting pulses the sound on and off; if pulsed sound or light has ever affected you, do not use that setting. The full notice is at l1fetone.com/safety.

Subscription and billing

• The Service costs US$4.99 per month or US$39.99 per year, charged in advance through Stripe. Charges appear on your statement as L1FE BY DESIGN.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" inside the app. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time and keep access until your paid period ends, we do not give refunds for unused time when you cancel. If you believe you were charged by mistake, email us within 7 days of the charge and we will put it right.

Sharing L1fe Tone with friends

Every member gets a personal share link inside the app. It works the same way for everyone:

• Your first friend who subscribes unlocks the Sleep & Rest preset set for you.
• Your second unlocks Deep Work.
• Every third friend who subscribes (your 3rd, 6th, 9th and so on) gives you one month free, taken off your next bill automatically. On the yearly plan it takes $4.99 off your renewal instead.

The details:

• A friend counts once their first payment has actually cleared, not when they sign up. They pay the normal price; there is no discount for them and no payment to you.
• There is a limit of 12 free months per member in any twelve-month period. Friends still count past the limit, and free months start again as older ones fall outside that period.
• Free months are money off your own bill. They are never cash, we cannot pay them out, and they have no value if you cancel.
• If a friend's payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, or if we believe a sign-up was not genuine, we may take back the free month or the bonus set.
• Share your link with people you know. Bulk or unsolicited sending, spam posting, or presenting this as a way to make money is not allowed and will end your rewards.
• This is a thank-you, not part of what you are paying for. We may change or end it with notice.

When you share, tell people you get a reward if they join. The message the app writes for you already says so.

Your licence

While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service in your own browser. The Service, its code, design, library and content belong to us. You may not copy, download for reuse, modify, resell, share your sign-in with others, or attempt to bypass the sign-in. Your session history belongs to you and stays on your device.

Signing in

Access is by one-time links and codes sent to your email. Keep your email account secure. Sign out of the app on devices you do not control.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may update or change features to keep the Service simple and working well.

No warranties

We provide the Service as it is, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, of merchantable quality, or that it will produce any particular effect. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, L1fe Tone, L1fe by Design, Attract Success, LLC, and their owner, officers, members and contractors accept no liability for any loss, injury or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, and any physical, mental or emotional effect you believe the audio had on you. You use the Service entirely at your own risk, and you are responsible for following the safety notice at l1fetone.com/safety.

Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability entirely, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

If you end it. You can end this agreement at any time by cancelling your subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and there is no refund.

If we end it. We may end your membership if you break these terms. If we do, your access stops straight away. Unless the reason was serious misconduct, such as fraud, spam or abuse of the sharing programme, we will refund the unused days you have paid for. This is the only time unused days are refunded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and email you about any significant change before it takes effect. If we cannot reach you by email, we will post the change on this page 30 days before it takes effect.
