Privacy Policy

L1fe Tone is made by L1fe by Design, a venture of Attract Success, LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Your email address. Used to run your subscription and to send you sign-in links, receipts and important notices about the service. We email you about your subscription and how to use the app. We send L1fe Tone news or offers only if you ticked the optional box for them when you subscribed, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. We never send offers from anyone else.
• Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us your name and email if you gave them, your billing country and postal code if Stripe asked for them, whether your subscription is active, and your payment history.
• If a member invited you. Your subscription record at Stripe notes which member's link you came through, so we can give them their thank-you. We never tell them who you are; they only see how many friends have joined. If you would rather not be linked, subscribe from l1fetone.com directly instead of through a share link.
• Basic technical records. We do not keep a log of the pages you visit. Our server records errors so we can fix them, and records when a payment or referral reward is processed; those notes can include your account reference at Stripe. Your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse of the sign-in form. Logs are cleared when we redeploy the app.

What stays on your device

Your session history, including any intention note you type, your starred favorites, any stations you save on the radio (with the words you typed for them) and your last-used settings are stored only in your own browser. They are never sent to us; we could not read them if we wanted to. The Clear button on the History tab deletes the history, and clearing your browser data for this site removes everything, settings included. You can download a copy of your history any time with Save a copy.

Cookies

We use three cookies, all ours, and none is for advertising:

• A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in on that device. It lasts 90 days and renews each day you use the app, so you are only asked to sign in again after a long break or if you sign out.
• A sign-in code cookie, set for 15 minutes when you ask to sign in, so the 6-digit code we email you can be checked. It holds a scrambled fingerprint of the code, never the code itself.
• A referral cookie, set only if you arrive through a member's share link. It remembers which member sent you, for 30 days, so that if you subscribe they get their thank-you. It holds a scrambled reference to their account and nothing about you.

There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no tracking pixels.

Who else handles your data

• Stripe processes payments and stores your billing details under its own privacy policy.
• Brevo delivers our email (sign-in links and service notices) and processes your email address to do so.
• Hetzner hosts our server.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone else.

Where your information goes

Our server is hosted in the United States. Stripe and Brevo operate in the United States and the European Union, so if you are outside the US your information may be handled in the US, and if you are in the US it may be handled in the EU. All three companies are bound by their own data agreements with us.

How long we keep it

Your email and subscription record stay with Stripe for as long as you have a subscription, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are cleared when we redeploy the app.

Your choices and rights

• Cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" inside the app.
• See or delete your information. Email us and we will tell you everything we hold, which is very little, and correct it if it is wrong. We can delete your account record, except for invoices and payment records we are required to keep for tax purposes. Our email provider keeps its own delivery logs under its policy. Anything stored in your browser is yours alone: we cannot see it or delete it, but clearing your browser data removes it completely.
• Sign out from the app's menu to remove the sign-in cookie from that device.
• Why we are allowed to. We use your email because we need it to run your subscription and let you sign in; we keep brief security records to protect the service; and we use the referral cookie only if you arrive through a member's link. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your national data-protection authority.

Children

L1fe Tone is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Not a medical service

L1fe Tone is an audio tool. The intention note is for you, not for us: we never receive it, so it never becomes a health record in our hands. Because it stays on your device, treat anything personal you type there the way you would treat a note on your phone.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, email you.
